We want you to be completely satisfied with StayAwake. We offer a permanent free tier so you can verify the App works on your system before purchasing. If after upgrading you are not happy, we will make it right — quickly and without hassle.
7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
New Pro subscribers receive a full refund if requested within 7 days of the first payment — no questions asked.
- Applies to the first payment of a new Pro Monthly or Pro Annual subscription only.
- The refund request must be submitted within 7 calendar days of the initial charge date.
- Refunds are credited to the original payment method. Processing time is typically 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
- Upon refund, your Pro licence is deactivated immediately and your account reverts to the Free tier.
Renewal Charges
Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically. We send a reminder email 3 days before each renewal date. Renewal charges are generally non-refundable. Exceptions are made if:
- The charge was made in error (e.g. after a confirmed cancellation), or
- A verified technical issue prevented you from using the App during the entire billing period and our support team was unable to resolve it.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard to prevent future charges. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
Lifetime Licences
Lifetime licences are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of purchase. After 14 days, Lifetime purchases are non-refundable due to their one-time nature — unless there is a verified technical fault that we are unable to resolve.
Technical Issues
If the App does not work as described on your machine and our support team cannot resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe (typically 5 business days), you are entitled to a full refund regardless of when the issue was first reported, even outside the standard guarantee window.
Please contact support before initiating a chargeback — we resolve legitimate issues promptly and chargebacks create significant administrative burden for small developers.
How to Request a Refund
Email support@stayawakemouse.com with the following:
- The email address used at checkout
- Your Paddle order or transaction ID (found in your purchase receipt)
- The reason for your refund (optional, but helps us improve)
We aim to respond within 1 business day and process confirmed refunds within 2 business days.
